About Ridge Shinn Farms & Ecology

Ridge Shinn Farms & Ecology has been a pioneer in sustainable grass-fed beef production for over two decades, demonstrating that regenerative agriculture practices can restore ecosystems while producing nutritious food and supporting farming communities.

Our Mission

We believe that agriculture should build soil health, support biodiversity, and produce nutritious food. Through rotational grazing and holistic land management, we demonstrate that farming can be both ecologically restorative and economically viable.

Our Story

Ridge Shinn began working with grass-fed beef systems in the early 2000s, recognizing that industrial feedlot production was damaging both land and food quality. By returning to pasture-based systems and implementing rotational grazing, the farm has shown that sustainable methods can compete with conventional agriculture while rebuilding natural resources.
